Cherrypick Bands are cherry-picked from the best of Irish talent to provide high quality, premium entertainment for Weddings. We understand that booking the right band is as important as booking the right venue or getting the best dress or suit. At Cherrypick Entertainment we place our emphasis on quality and professionalism.

MUSIC, STYLES & TIMINGS

* The Cherrypick Wedding Package consists of your Cherrypick band and DJ.
* All Cherrypick bands can completely customise their playlists to suit you and your guests needs.
* Every Cherrypick band has years of experience with huge repertoires of songs. Each band can quickly call on songs as needed to keep every dance floor full.
* Every Cherry-picked band has their own unique tricks to keep everyone involved, but here at Cherrypick we like to keep that element hush hush. We don’t want to spoil every surprise on the night 🙂
* After the first dance of choice, the band immediately kicks into some upbeat lively all round classics loved by young and old.
* We then hit the crowd with some 60's and 70’s Rock n’Roll. Always a hit for the Aunties and Uncles. This gets the dance floor filled encouraging the younger generations.
* Around the 8th song waltzes are played followed by some beautiful Irish music.
* The first half of the show is finished off with some 80's and 90’s music.
* There is usually a short break for teas and coffees around 80 minutes into the set.
* After the break Cherrypick bands kick into sets to get everyone talking - a modern party set jam-packed with chart hits and floor fillers.
* The DJ will begin immediately after your band has played a whole variety of music and all your guests requests.

UNIQUE PRE-FIRST DANCE SET

The Pre-First Dance Set is a service unique to Cherrypick bands. In our experience, it is a necessary set of songs needed to keep the day running smoothly which are played between the meal and the amount of time needed for the newlyweds to prepare for the nights festivities.

It is important to us that the couple are not under pressure after their meal to take to the dance floor too quickly. They need time to relax and digest which helps moving into the night.

The Pre-Set is very important allowing the couple to take a little time out while their guests are kept entertained and the mood is being set for the next highlight of the day, the First Dance.

Our cherrypicked bands can play any song of significance as long as enough notice is given.
